The app · Tiny Boop for Mac
Your photos
When you choose a photo, Tiny Boop reads that one file and cuts the subject out using image processing built into macOS. All of this happens on your own Mac. Your photos are never uploaded anywhere. The only time the app goes online is the version check described below, and it sends no photos, notes or anything about you.
The finished sticker is saved on your Mac so it can reappear when you reopen the app. Tiny Boop can only read the specific files you pick, because it runs inside Apple's App Sandbox with read-only access to user-selected files.
Your notes
The text you type into sticky notes is stored only on your Mac, in the app's own local storage. It is not sent anywhere, not synced between devices, and not readable by anyone but you.
What syncs through iCloud
So that one purchase works on all of your Macs, Tiny Boop stores three small settings in Apple's iCloud key-value storage:
- whether you have unlocked premium
- which font style you chose
- a yes/no flag recording whether you have ever typed a note, used to decide when to show a hint
That is the complete list. No photos, no note text, and nothing that identifies you. This data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, and it is tied to your Apple Account rather than to us. We cannot see it.
Checking for updates
From version 1.0.2, once a day Tiny Boop looks at its own public App Store listing to see whether a newer version is out, so it can show 1 update available in its menu. The request contains only Tiny Boop's App Store ID and your country's App Store, so it sees the version released where you are. Nothing about you, your photos or your notes is sent. As with opening any web page, Apple can see the internet address the request comes from; Apple handles that under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Purchases
The $6.99 premium unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see, receive, or store your name, card details, or billing address. Tiny Boop only ever learns a single fact from Apple: whether this Apple Account has purchased the unlock.
What the app never does
- no analytics or usage tracking in the app
- no advertising and no advertising identifiers
- no third-party SDKs of any kind
- no crash reporting services
- no accounts, logins, or email lists
- no selling or sharing of data, because none is collected

Counting visits
This website, tinyboop.lfmlabs.com, counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: the page, the site that sent you here, your country, your browser and device type, and how fast the page loaded. Cloudflare states that it uses no cookies or other storage on your device, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect visitors' personal data. We see only totals.
Typefaces
The fonts this page is set in are served from this website, not fetched from
Google, so that opening a page does not announce you to anyone. Their licences
sit beside them in /fonts.
The mailing list
There is one optional form on this site, and it does nothing else. If you give us your address there, you go on the LFM Labs mailing list — a few emails a year about Tiny Boop and our other apps. We send a confirmation first, so nobody is added by someone else typing their address. If you never use that form, we never store it.
The list is kept by LFM Labs on Cloudflare and sent through Resend, who handle the sending for us and nothing else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, one click, no sign-in. You can also write to privacy@lfmlabs.com and ask us to delete the address entirely.
The bot check
The “email it to me” form on the download page is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, so that nobody can use it to send our email to strangers. It loads from challenges.cloudflare.com only when you start typing in that field — if you tap “send it to my Mac” or “copy the link” instead, it never loads at all. Cloudflare sees that request the way any website host does. It is used to tell a person from a script, and for nothing else here.
What this website never does
- no advertising, and no advertising or tracking cookies
- no third-party trackers, fingerprinting, or session recording
- no accounts, and no sign-up needed to use the site
- nothing sold or shared with anyone
Both
Children
Tiny Boop is safe for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Deleting your data
Everything Tiny Boop stores lives on your own Mac. Dragging the app to the Trash removes it. The three iCloud settings listed above can be cleared from System Settings, under your Apple Account, in the iCloud section.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Since the app collects nothing, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a new use of your data.
