In the menu bar at the top of your screen, not the Dock. Tiny Boop has no Dock icon on purpose, so it stays out of your way. Click the icon to open its menu.

Tiny Boop asks you for a photo the first time it runs. If you skipped that, open the menu bar icon and choose Get Started….

Cutting the subject out takes a few seconds on a large photo. That work happens on your Mac, so nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Any photo with one clear subject: a pet, a person, a plant, a mug, a drawing you scanned. Good light and a subject that stands out from its background give the cleanest cut. Very busy backgrounds, or a subject the same colour as what is behind it, are the hard cases.

Click your sticker. Click it again to tuck the note away. Notes keep their text when hidden, so nothing is lost by closing one.

Nowhere. They are kept, they just start tucked away. Every time Tiny Boop opens, your sticker appears on its own and your notes stay hidden behind it. Click your sticker and they all come back, with their text, colour and position exactly as you left them.

This is deliberate. Notes reopening by themselves on every restart would override you when you had tucked them away on purpose, and with five stickers it could mean a lot of windows appearing at once when you log in.

Open the menu bar icon and choose My Stickers…. From there you can add a new one, replace a sticker's photo, or delete it. Replacing keeps the sticker where it already sits on screen.

That is the normal setting: your sticker sits on the desktop, so apps cover it. Turn on Float in the menu and it stays in front of all app windows instead.

Follow Me is the related one: with it on, your sticker appears on every desktop rather than only the one you set it up on.

Choose Hide Tiny Boop in the menu. Your sticker and notes are kept exactly as they are, and the same menu item brings them back.

Menu bar icon, then Change Font…. The free version comes with one font style, and premium unlocks all five.

Note colours are chosen on the note itself, from the row of dots along its top edge.

Open the menu bar icon and choose Restore Purchases. As long as the Mac is signed in to the same Apple Account that bought it, the unlock comes straight back.

Your purchase is tied to your Apple Account, so you never pay twice.

No, and this one is worth being clear about. Your photos and the text of your notes stay on the Mac they were made on. Only three small settings travel through iCloud: whether you have premium, which font style you chose, and one flag used to decide when to show a first-time hint.

The cut is done by macOS's own subject detection, and it struggles when the subject blends into the background. Try a photo where your subject is clearly separated, or crop in closer before importing.

You can replace a sticker's photo at any time from My Stickers… without losing its position.

Yes. Hold Option while the menu is open and Reset Tiny Boop… appears. It clears your stickers, notes and settings and puts the app back to its first run.

This does not undo your purchase. Use Restore Purchases afterwards to bring premium back.

Quit Tiny Boop from its menu, then drag the app to the Trash. Everything it saved lives on your Mac and goes with it. The three iCloud settings can be cleared from System Settings, under your Apple Account, in the iCloud section.
